Project overview
Cynuria is launching a digital solution and seeks a creative partner to guide the development of its brand identity and website. This engagement will include strategic branding services, a collaborative brand naming workshop, visual identity design, and full website development and deployment.
Objectives
- Develop a compelling and differentiated brand identity for the new product
- Conduct a strategic workshop to generate, evaluate, and finalize a brand name
- Design a cohesive visual identity that aligns with Cynuria’s parent brand
- Develop a modern, user-focused website that not only showcases and promotes the product but also includes essential features like customer support, pricing options, and web payment functionality to guide and support users throughout their journey.
- Deliver assets that support product launch and brand consistency across platforms
Scope of work
Task 1. Project management & communication
- Weekly status meetings
- Shared project tracker for timelines and deliverables
- Two rounds of feedback per milestone
Task 2. Discovery & strategy
- Kickoff meeting with Cynuria’s core team
- Alignment review of Cynuria’s existing brand guidelines
Deliverable: Strategic brief with insights, positioning, and creative direction
Task 3. Brand naming workshop or similar
- Facilitation of an interactive workshop focused on name ideation and positioning
- Presentation of 2-3 brand name options with rationale, tone, and linguistic testing
- Trademark and domain availability checks
Deliverable: Finalized brand name with narrative and usage recommendations
Task 4. Visual identity
- Logo design (primary and secondary lockups)
- Color palette, typography, and iconography
- Basic brand style guide for usage consistency
- Brand messaging guide: tone of voice, etc.
Deliverable: Final files in multiple formats and a brand style guide
Task 5. Website design & development
- Sitemap and user journey planning
- Design of up to 10 landing pages
- Incorporate key website elements such as:
- A customer support section for both users and internal teams.
- A pricing page where customers can select their plan or subscription tier.
- Web payment capabilities, with upfront planning to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Mobile-first responsive design
- SEO best practices (keyword optimization, metadata, analytics integration)
- Section 508 accessibility compliance
- CMS integration
Deliverable: Fully functional website with training session
Task 6. Product introductory video
- Concept, script, and produce up to 3, 15-second teaser videos introducing the product
- Includes voiceover, animation or live-action, and motion graphics
Deliverable: Promotional video optimized for digital platforms
Task 7. Product launch sales & marketing strategy
- Develop a phased product launch sales and marketing strategy that Cynuria can execute internally, including a soft launch and a full-scale product launch
- Define internal and external launch activities, timelines, and responsibilities
- Recommend content, assets, and platform-specific approaches to generate leads and revenue across both phases
- Align launch strategy with brand identity and marketing roadmap
Deliverable: Launch strategy plan with clear action steps, content recommendations, and timeline, designed to align with our sales strategy.
Timeline
The following timeline outlines major milestones for the selection and execution of this project. Dates are subject to change based on mutual agreement:
Q&A submission deadline: May 5, 2025 12pm ET
Q&A responses posted by: May 9, 2025 12pm ET
Proposal submission deadline: May 19, 2025 5pm ET
Shortlisting of candidates: May 23, 2025
Interviews/ presentations: May 28 - June 4, 2025
Vendor selection: June 9, 2025
Project kickoff: June 18, 2025
End of the period of performance: October 31, 2025
Deliverables
- Strategic brief and brand positioning document
- Finalized brand name and naming rationale
- Visual identity assets and brand guidelines
- Fully developed and deployed website
- Sales & marketing strategy
Budget
Vendors should submit a fixed-fee proposal for the core scope. The total cost must be broken down by task to ensure clarity and transparency in pricing.
Proposal submission guidelines
Interested companies or individuals must submit a comprehensive proposal addressing the Scope of Work outlined above. Please submit questions before May 5, 2025; answers will be returned on a rolling basis.
Proposals should be no more than 15 pages long and include:
- High-level project plan to show timing and milestones
- A brief description of the approach to the tasks as outlined
- Relevant experience to include a minimum of three projects, each to include a current client point-of-contact email address and phone number
- A list of assumptions along with necessary inputs required from Cynuria
- Resume (two-page maximum) for your project lead
- A detailed breakdown of cost
Evaluation criteria and selection process
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Experience and expertise in branding strategy development
- Specific experience in designing and developing websites for SaaS solutions
- Familiarity with the target industry and understanding of its stakeholders and audience needs
- Creativity and innovation in proposed solution
- Cost-effectiveness and value for investment
- Adherence to the requested delivery timeline
The selection will be a two-step process:
1. Initial review of written proposals,
2. Live presentation for shortlisted candidates.

All information provided in the proposals will be treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of evaluating and selecting a marketing and branding strategy partner.
